Cenevre Uluslararası Otomobil Fuarı GIMS Direktörü Olivier Rihs, kişisel nedenlerden dolayı 2020 Nisan’ında görevinden ayrılmaya karar verdi. Kariyerine GIMS’den uzakta devam edecek. Yine de, GIMS’in gelecek 90’ıncı yıldönümü baskısında 5 – 15 Mart 2020 tarihleri arasında Otomobil Fuarı için başlattığı değişiklikleri ve yeni projeleri başlatacak ve uygulayacak.
Cenevre Uluslararası Otomobil Fuarı Mütevelli Heyeti Başkanı Maurice Turrettini, istifasını reddetti.
Turrettini, “GIMS için bir dizi yenilik başlatmak ve uygulamak için Olivier Rihs’e teşekkür ediyoruz” dedi. Turrettini ayrıca, “GIMS Discovery, GIMS Tech ve GIMS VIP ile Günün en önemli küresel motorlarından biri konum gösterdiği için Cenevre güçlenecek ve ziyaretçi deneyimi büyük ölçüde artacak” şeklinde konuştu. Mütevelli Heyeti, yeni direktör için görüşmelere başladı.
GIMS Director Oliver Rihs is leaving his post
The Director of the Geneva International Motor Show GIMS, Olivier Rihs, has decided to leave his post at the end of April 2020 for personal reasons. He will continue his career away from GIMS. Nevertheless, he will launch and implement the changes and new projects he has initiated for the Motor Show with full vigour at the forthcoming 90th anniversary edition of the GIMS from 5 to 15 March 2020.
Maurice Turrettini, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Geneva International Motor Show, regrets his resignation: “We would like to thank Olivier Rihs for initiating and implementing a series of innovations for the GIMS. With GIMS Discovery, GIMS Tech and the GIMS VIP Day, Geneva will be strengthened as one of the most important global motor shows locations and the visitor experience will be greatly enhanced. The Board of Trustees has already begun the search for a successor”.
